Bio
Jennifer Villa grew up in El Paso, Texas, and spent part of her childhood in Delicias, Mexico. She attended medical school at Saint Louis University, where she founded the Medical Spanish Distinction Track to help bridge language gaps in healthcare.
Her interests include health equity, language access, and community outreach. Along
Outside of medicine, Jennifer enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Tuan, and her two dachshunds, Hazel and Chorizo. She’s thrilled to be part of IUEM, where she was drawn to the program’s strong training in critical care, its supportive culture, and the opportunity to grow as both a clinician and advocate.
